The Journal of Plant Molecular Breeding (JPMB) is a biannual publication that is open-access and peer-reviewed. It is owned and published by the Genetics and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute of Tabarestan (GABIT). JPMB focuses on promoting and sharing scientific knowledge in the field of plant molecular breeding and related academic disciplines. It encompasses scientific and technological aspects of plant biotechnology used in various agricultural domains, such as biotic and abiotic stress in plants, plant biodiversity and genetic resources, plant genetics and breeding, plant genomics (structural, functional, and applied), plant genetic engineering, plant biochemical and regulatory networks, and plant bioinformatics.

.

Our journal strives for a peer review decision within 2 weeks of submission, and accepted articles are published online within 2-3 weeks. Achieving these rapid timelines is possible through our dedicated in-house editorial team, efficient article workflow management, and the assistance of our Editorial and Advisory Board in expediting peer review. This approach facilitates the swift dissemination of research, maintaining robust peer review standards. Coupled with our open-access model, it enables the prompt and efficient communication of cutting-edge research, driving advancements in plant molecular breeding.

The Genetics and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute of Tabarestan (GABIT) has covered all publishing expenses, enabling authors to freely publish their manuscripts while allowing audiences to download and share the articles without any restrictions.
